This is totally a wrong idea to feed the children with watching him/her television. For these reason child makes a deal with you that he/she will not eat if the television is not present infront of him/her. He/she makes a relation between eat and television. On the other hand he can't take the taste of food while giving concentration on T.V. So child may feels problem with digesting foods.
